How it Works
Partner Provider Rides are an extension of RTC’s Paratransit services, offering greater flexibility for paratransit-certified riders. Rides can be scheduled outside standard paratransit operating hours, giving riders more freedom to travel when and where they need.
To use Partner Provider Rides, customers must meet the following criteria:
- Must be able to travel independently. This service is not recommended for riders with memory or cognitive challenges that require supervision.
- Wheelchairs, scooters, and non-collapsible walkers cannot be accommodated at this time.
- A smartphone with text capabilities is required to receive ride notifications and updates.

You may be eligible for this service if: You are ADA paratransit certified, able to transfer independently, and not use a wheelchair, scooter, or non-folding walker.
Passes
Partner Provider Rides
Partner Provider Rides cost $3 per trip—the same as standard paratransit rides. Riders can use their RTC paratransit passes to cover the cost.
Personal care attendants (PCA) ride free of charge. Children five years of age and younger ride free and must be accompanied by an adult. Paratransit ID card holders can also ride any residential route or express route free of charge.
Important Payment Information
RTC does not accept checks onboard vehicles. If you mail a payment, only personal checks, cashier’s checks, or money orders are accepted (no third-party checks). Always include your Paratransit ID Number when purchasing by mail. Coupon books ordered online are mailed through USPS to the address you provide. RTC is not responsible for delivery once shipped, and passes are non-refundable.
How to Book a Ride
- All Partner Provider Rides are scheduled through the myRTCpara system, just like regular paratransit trips.
- After you book your trip, you’ll receive a text notification with details about your ride, including the name of the partner provider.
- There is no need to contact UZURV or SilverRide directly—everything is handled through RTC.
Before You Schedule
- Book your trip up to three days in advance and no later than 5 p.m. the day before you need to travel.
- Check to see if you are in our paratransit service area
- Have your Paratransit ID Number handy
- Know your pickup and drop-off addresses
- Know the date and time of your trip
- Include, if you are bringing a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or a companion
