Paratransit and Accessibility
RTC provides a range of services to help people with disabilities and seniors travel safely, comfortably, and independently. Whether you need door-to-door paratransit service, a different paratransit ride option, help learning to ride the bus, or support finding the right pass, we’re here to make every trip easier.
Standard Paratransit Service
Our dedicated paratransit service is a shared ride, door-to-door service for people who are not able to use RTC’s local bus service on their own. This could be all the time, sometimes, or just in certain situations.
To ride, you need to apply and be approved. Eligibility is based on your ability to use the bus—not just your disability. The application process may include an in-person assessment with a short practice trip to see how you move, balance, and navigate a bus stop.
Service area: Within ¾ mile of any scheduled bus route in the urbanized area of Clark County. See Service Area
Hours of operation: 24/7, every day of the year
Free scheduled bus rides: If you have a paratransit ID, you can ride any regular or express bus for free. View Pass Prices and Options

Paratransit Rider Support
Learn to Ride the Bus
New to using the bus? Or just need help? We’ve got you. RTC’s Mobility Training program offers free, one-on-one or group training to help seniors and people with disabilities feel confident riding buses. You’ll practice boarding, paying your fare, and planning your trip so that you can travel independently with ease.
For Visitors
If you’re already approved for paratransit in another city, you can use RTC’s paratransit service while visiting Las Vegas.

If You Appear In Person Without Documents
We may ask for proof that you live outside Las Vegas. If your disability is not apparent, you’ll be asked to sign a form confirming you can’t use regular buses.
If You’re Not Certified Paratransit in Another State
You’ll need to send a note from a doctor or other proof of your disability.
