Following a successful spring season, the Produce Pop-Ups at the Bonneville Transit Center (BTC) are back for fall and winter 2025! This community-driven initiative—powered by the RTC, Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), and Prevail Marketplace—continues to provide affordable, healthy food options to local residents.
The Produce Pop-Ups aim to reduce food insecurity by making fresh fruits and vegetables easily accessible in downtown Las Vegas. Each event brings together neighbors, community health advocates, and food vendors to promote better nutrition and wellness through access and education.
A variety of payment options are accepted, including SNAP/EBT, cash, debit, and credit cards. Shoppers can also pick up recipe cards, healthy eating tips, and nutrition information from SNHD to help turn fresh produce into healthy meals at home.
In 2024 alone, more than 2,470 pounds of produce were sold at the BTC events—with nearly 30% of purchases made using SNAP/EBT. These numbers highlight the impact and continued importance of the program in meeting community needs.
