Via a variety of activities for all ages and abilities, Biketoberfest events promote safe cycling, family fun, sustainable transportation, and an active, healthy lifestyle
LAS VEGAS, NEV –The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is shifting gears into Biketoberfest 2025, a month of free, fun-filled events to celebrate cycling valley-wide.
Biketoberfest brings together partners, including Club Ride, RTC Bike Share, the Southern Nevada Bicycle Coalition, and Las Vegas Cyclery, to host bike repair clinics, family-friendly community rides, the first-ever Bike to Lunch Week, and more. There is something for everyone during this month-long celebration of cycling safety, education, and fun.
The month also marks the ninth anniversary of RTC’s Bike Share program. And what better way to celebrate than with six new stations, fresh public art installations, and additional resources for Bike Share reduced fare? Thanks to the Southern Nevada Health District, these latest additions and resources were made possible through a federal grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Today, the system provides more than 100 bikes, including electric bikes, over 30 stations throughout downtown, the Medical District and East Las Vegas, available for only $5 a day.
Cyclists of all ages and skill levels are invited to get outside, connect with others, and join community partners for a variety of fun activities and learning opportunities across the valley.
